29 Weeks!
|
So...I apologize for not getting this weeks post up sooner. I have had a couple people tell me they have checked. So...this picture is actually from 29 weeks, I just haven't had time to upload and post. We had a really busy week getting settled in the new place. So...here is 29 weeks...I figured I better get it up before I have to do 30 weeks tomorrow :)
Week: 29
Baby: Baby Pease is the size of a head of a butternut squash, weighing in around 2.5 lbs and 15 inches long. Her muscles and lungs are continuing to form and grow stronger! Her bones are also strengthening, so I need lots of calcium- which I have been getting from tums and late night cereal :)
Stretch Marks: No- and belly button is still in- but I am so pale that you can see all the veins in my belly as it stretches even more. Kind of funny looking :)
Maternity Clothes: Maternity jeans are so comfy....they should make regular jeans with elastic waist bands...I wish that would be acceptable to wear post baby! I also have been wearing some cute maternity pj's my mom got me because everything else is getting a little too small!
Movement: All. Day. Long. And I love it! And, you can see her moving if you watch my belly- which is quite awesome.
Yummy: Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Lemonade, Cantaloupe, Cheerios, Oatmeal with Apples, Trail Mix Granola Bars, French Fries!
Eww!: Nothing I can think of...still a healthy and hearty diet. Poor Justin rarely gets to finish my meals anymore. I hope this appetite goes away after she arrives or I might be in trouble :)
Symptoms: Heartburn, Back Pain, and Tired....back to the first trimester bed time...8ish (including weekend nights....)
Mood: Happy and a bit more content now that we have moved into our new place.
High of the week: We moved in to our new place on Saturday, April 14th! I really like the new area and it feels very homey. We certainly move a lot, but we manage to make each place feel like our own. Kennedy is adjusting well and loving that Justin comes home at lunch to take him out. Hopefully that will help him stay out of trouble...although I doubt it. I hope our daughter is better behaved than our dog :)
Low of the week: Kennedy destroying the bathroom at our old place. He somehow locked himself in the bathroom and then clawed/chewed/ate his way out of the bathroom- completely destroying the trim and door in the process. Luckily, we have a great contractor that we have worked with on several projects in the past. Justin got in touch with him right away and he had it fixed in a few days. It looks perfect and matches the rest of the house perfectly. Not pregnancy related really, but caused some stress- which is not good. That silly, silly dog...
Most looking forward to: Getting her room all set up and organized!
